This lively
version of the DVD of the 72
Orton Phonograms is fast-paced for
right-brain learners of English from
birth to age 5 or 6. These show only the
letters of the phonograms on the face of a
flashcard. Right-brain learners are quick to
learn and will not tolerate a slow learning
pace. The phonograms are shown through 3-times
for a total time of 21 minutes. The phonograms
are separated in sections of 10 for control.
Infants and
preschool children may accelerate precise
speech, receive phonemic awareness and learn the
phonograms’ sound sequences and dialogues simply
by playing the DVD in their ‘space’
without instruction. The sound may be used for
an infant in the same manner as a music or language
tape. The infant does not need to see and hear
the phonogram letters at the same time; their
brain will categorize and file this information
and will associate it when they see the
phonograms. Use for: Infants, Babies, Toddlers,
Pre-school, Kindergarten & English as a Second
Language (ESL).

Flash Card Phonogram Pack (Y04A) The 72 Orton Phonogram Cards are taught first. These will form the basis for all of your child's future language skills. The phonogram cards are used by the teacher to present and pronounce the phonogram's sound sequence and dialogue to the child. They are not to be given to the child. They are presented in multiples of 10 at high-speed (15 seconds) once or twice daily from 5-15 times. New sets of 10 are shown when the child's interest wanes. The cards are 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"printed on white gloss card stock.

Moveable Phonogram Kit for Word Building A child learns to analyze words according to the sounds they hear in the phonogram sound and the spoken language. Pre-writing, young children can "write and spell" with moveable single-letter and multi-letter phonograms. They are used at the beginning of the left-brain learning period from ages 3-5. They are printed on 90# white card stock to be cut apart and filed.

We have so enjoyed your
flashcards! My three year old twins love
to see the pictures on the opposite side
of the cards, and they stay engaged for
much longer than they otherwise could.
They often notice the phonograms they’ve
learned from the flashcards, and love to
tell me what sounds they find in signs
and books. We have made phonogram
picture books by folding over the
coloring pages (my seven year old loves
to color them in), and binding them with
brads or staples. My one year old loves
the “ou” phonogram best of all. Even if
he is busy with something else when we
come to this flash card or page in our
book, he will get a big smile and run
over, then we ham it up. We all giggle,
and he loves it. What a fun way to
